The all-in-one coaching platform for fitness and nutrition coaches
Your clients can tell when a check-in was written for them.
Pivot drafts the questions for each client's next check-in from their own history - what they logged, what they skipped, what you told them last week. You approve every question before it sends.

What would a planned 3 PM snack look like on a 12-hour shift?
Check-in answers Week 9 · 6 answers
Last week you said Sunday prep keeps falling apart when shifts run long. How did batch-cooking on Saturday work out?
Answer
Way better. I did chicken and rice bowls Saturday afternoon and had lunches through Wednesday. Thursday I ran out and grabbed fast food twice, but that's still the best week I've had in a while. Next time I'm making a bigger batch.
How have hunger and energy been on the new targets?
Answer
Mostly fine. Around 3 PM on long shifts I'm starving and end up grabbing whatever's in the break room.

Why check-ins go quiet
The form never changes, but the answers do.
Clients start out writing paragraphs. A couple of months into the same form, the answers shrink to "fine, busy week." Questions about what's actually going on in their week keep them talking.

Week 1From onboarding
You mentioned your shifts run 12 hours. Which meal is hardest to plan on a work day?
Lunch, by far. I'm on the floor from 7 to 7 and usually just grab whatever's in the break room around 3.
Week 5From their latest check-in
Last week you said Sunday prep keeps falling apart. How did batch-cooking on Saturday work out?
Way better. I had lunches through Wednesday. Thursday I ran out and grabbed fast food twice, but it's still the best week I've had in a while.
Week 9From your reply
We talked about packing a protein snack for the 3 PM slump. How did that go on your long shifts?
Really well, honestly. Greek yogurt and a cheese stick in my bag. I wasn't starving by the end of the shift and didn't touch the break room once.
“In the beginning the answers would be very thorough, a lot longer, and then toward the end they're shorter. And that's typically when clients need more, right?”

Check-in questions drafted for each client
Close a check-in and Pivot drafts the next one from that client's answers, their logs, and what you told them.

From onboarding
Hi Coach, what are we working on?
Maya Reyes
Why do her Thursdays keep slipping?
It lines up with her schedule. In her 10/12 onboarding she said she works a double most Thursdays, and her Thursday calories have run about 600 over her other weekdays since. In her 10/26 check-in she called Thursday "survival mode." Her prepped lunches ran out by Wednesday last week, so Thursday is the day with nothing planned.

“Good is the enemy of great. My coaching was good, my check-ins were good... But the minute I started being able to personalize them, even as a person who felt like he was doing good before, I feel a tangible difference.”
Jordan Lips · Fitness and nutrition coach
“Almost all of them have noticed.”
“I didn't tell people, 'Hey, you're gonna get personalized questions now,' when I moved my clientele over. But almost all of them have noticed. So clearly, even though I was doing a good job changing them each week, they were cognizant that it wasn't for them. And they were immediately cognizant when it began being for them.”
Jordan LipsFitness and nutrition coach
“Not one word, not even one sentence.”
“Their answers are thought out and giving me so much to work with.”
“[My clients have] even commented, 'Wow, I'm glad this is being addressed, because I mentioned it last week.'... The answers have been very thorough. Not one word, not even one sentence.”
Danielle McClellanRegistered dietitian
“It's been night and day.”
“I did notice the shorter answers. I noticed people were getting kind of tired of [the same form]... Just applying [Pivot] now, it's been night and day. People are excited, people are engaged again.”
Brad HarkesFitness and nutrition coach
Here's what else they're saying
“I had one client switch over right away. And it was one of the first things she texted me after her first check-in. She was like, 'Wow, I really loved that check-in. I loved the questions it asked me. It felt very personal.'”
Dana OleksukWomen's fitness and nutrition coach
“We're almost two weeks into my group program and Pivot has made such a HUGE difference in client engagement and thus the entire environment within the group. They're all chatting, supporting, asking questions, etc. and it feels like a real community is being built. So thank you!!!”
Dana OleksukWomen's fitness and nutrition coach
“I had a task at 7pm each night to look who hasn't submitted the check-in and to nudge them. I don't think I've had to send a single message to a client, because they're always filled in on time now. And I don't think that's just coincidence.”
Brad HarkesFitness and nutrition coach
“I don't feel like, because I have almost 40 [clients], that I don't have time for these people. No, if anything, they're getting better coaching from me because of Pivot.”
Danielle McClellanRegistered dietitian
“[In my old app,] if I forget to extend a check-in, they miss it. And maybe I miss it. It feels so unprofessional... [In Pivot,] I don't need to think about it, it's there.”
MichaelaOnline coach for women, Sweden
“I have had clients before where we're kind of like ships passing in the night, or it's just like, 'Thanks for the check-in. See you next week.' So it feels really good to have more conversations, and to get a real good idea of what their life is and where their barriers are.”
Dana OleksukWomen's fitness and nutrition coach
“I keep a small enough roster. I know you. I know what you're going through. I know your kids' names. And I still, before I get on a call, I'll click that feature, call prep [in Brainstorm], and every time I'll be like, yeah. That was the thing that I might not have remembered... That means the time that I'm spending with them on Zoom is even more valuable. There's less wasted time. I connect better with them.”
Jordan LipsFitness and nutrition coach
“It just seems like the conversations are more in depth, more thoughtful. It's not just me coming in on a Tuesday and being like, 'Just checking in, how's the start of the week been?' It's specific questions to them, and their exact needs on a client by client basis.”
Brad HarkesFitness and nutrition coach
“I would say do it, because I feel like it's made such a difference in our connection from coach to client. I would say their experience has really just grown overall, because they just feel so much more taken care of, and they feel like they're getting the attention that they need.”
Dana OleksukWomen's fitness and nutrition coach
“The process of Wednesday nights emailing [the check-in form] to them, that was annoying. And now my Wednesday nights are customizing the check-ins, which just feels like a better use of my time. And then the check-ins take a similar amount of time to record. Obviously, I'm just doing them in Pivot, but the process is so nice. Just hit send.”
